Congress holds meet, discusses recently concluded LS polls | KNO

Srinagar May 28 (KNO): The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) in a meeting of senior party functionaries at party office today held threadbare discussions over the recently concluded parliament elections in JK. The party as per a statement issued to KNO also said that Congress party, after auspicious occasion EID will get the feedback from the cadres to chalk out a future strategy and emphasized the Party Leaders to stay connected with the people at grass root level in order to ensure resolution of the problems confronting them. A meeting of senior party leaders, DCC presidents and other party leaders which was presided over by JKPCC president G A Mir debated and discussed the recently concluded Parliament elections in the country especially in JK, stating that Congress Party will chalk a future strategy after getting feedback from the party cadres from grass root level. Addressing the meeting the JKPCC president said that the just concluded Parliament Election results cannot break Congress Party’s resolve to work for the wellbeing and development of the people, besides fighting against the menace of politics of betrayal, exploitation and opportunism, Mir said. He also said that Congress is fully capable to fight against the communal and fascist forces, won’t allow them vitiate the atmosphere of harmony to serve their vested interests. He said Congress party has the legacy of serving people in whatever situation and it will continue to remain committed to work for the inclusive development of the State and people as well. “Congress party is a vibrant force in all the three regions of the State, fully capable to defeat the political exploitation and betrayal,” Mir added and reiterated Congress party’s resolve to safeguard the interests of the people in all the three regions of the State Those who were present the meeting included Former PCC President, PCC Vice presidents, General Secretaries, Secretaries, Ex. Legislators, DCC Presidents, PCC DCC members and others senior leaders of the party.(KNO)
