Gunfight rages in Shopian Village | KNO

Shopian, May 31 (KNO) : A gunfight has started between government forces and militants in Sugan Dragad area of Zainapora belt of shopian district. An official told KNO that on specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area, joint team of forces including 44 RR launched search operation in the area in wee hours of Friday On intensifying search operation towards suspected spot, hiding militants fired upon forces triggered encounter, he said. As per sources two to three militants are believed to be trapped.(KNO)
