Government removes Parvez Ahmad as Chairman JK Bank | KNO

Srinagar, June 08(KNO) : The governor administration of J&K state on Saturday removed Parvez Ahmad from the post of JK Bank Chairman and also as director of Board of Directors (BoD) of the Bank. In an order available with KNO, Ahmad has been replaced by R K Chibber who has been nominated as the director on the Board and is likely to be appointed as the interim Chairman cum managing director of the Board. "Parvez Ahmad shall cease to be the director on board of directors of the Bank and consequently be no longer the Chairman cum managing director of the board," reads a letter addressed to company secretary JK Bank. The letter has been written by additional secretary finance department.(KNO)
