Forces to destroy suspicious object in morning

Poonch, June 10 (KNO) : The Krishna Ghati (KG) road in Poonch will remain closed for the traffic tonight as the bomb disposable squad has not completely diffused the suspicious object which was recovered earlier today. An official told KNO that the bomb squad will diffuse the object in the morning. "For precautionary measures, the road will remain closed," the official told KNO.  He said the suspicious object was found near a vital Army establishment in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch. Police sources told KNO that bomb squads of both Army and Police were present on the spot and were jointly conducting the operation with heavy deployment of forces made in the entire area located close to Line of Control. "The operation has been put on a halt due to darkness," the official told KNO. Earlier, a suspicious object was found lying on road near army camp in Krishna Ghati after which an alert was sounded in the area.(KNO)
