Unidentified dead body fished out from Jehleum in kakapora | KNO

Pulwama, June 22 (KNO): An unidentified body was on Saturday recovered from river Jehlum in Lelhar area of kakapora in Pulwama district, official sources said. Sources told KNO that panic gripped in Dar Mohalla area of Lelhara village when sand extractors found a male body in the river. "The body was fished out and was taken by police for identification. The cause of his death was being ascertained," the official sources told KNO. An police official confirmed to KNO that dead body of a non Muslim aged about 35 years was fished out from river Jehleum in Lelhar kakapora. "A case has been registered under section 174 CrPc and further investigation is going on," the police official said (KNO)
