Woman killed in Kupwara mishap | KNO

Srinagar, June 28 (KNO): A woman was killed in a road accident in Kupwara area of North Kashmir's district on Friday afternoon. Official sources told KNO that a speedy four wheeler Tata Sumo, hit a woman identified as Taja Begum (70) resident of Herri Kupwara at Heeri area of Kupwara on Friday afternoon, leaving her seriously wounded. ‘'The woman was immediately taken to a hospital, where she was declared brought dead,'' they added. Meanwhile, police has registered and further investigation has been initiated in this regard. (KNO)
