Chadoora, June 30 (KNO) : A militant has been killed so far and search operation is underway in an encounter that raged between government forces and militants during pre dawn hours in Bugam village of chadoora belt of Central kashmir's Budgam district, official sources said An official told to KNO that an encounter broke out in the area after forces including 53 RR, CRPF and SOG cordoned off the area on credible inputs about the presence of militants in the area. After intensifying search operation towards the suspected spot, hiding militants fired upon forces which was retaliated triggering an encounter, he said adding that so far one militant has been killed whose dead body is lying near the site and is yet to be retrieved and operation is underway in the area. Meanwhile as precautionary measure, authorities have snapped internet services in Budgam district.(KNO)a
