Two arrested, Industrial explosives used in making IEDs recovered in Shopian | KNO

Srinagar, July 13 (KNO) : Two persons were arrested in the intervening night of Friday-Saturday for their alleged involved in making the Improvised Explosive Devices (IED). Police also said that industrial explosives planned to be used in fabricating IEDs was also recovered in large number. On a credible input, searches were conducted in various locations in District Shopian during the intervening night of July 12-13, police said as per a statement issued to KNO, adding that during the searches, industrial explosives planned to be used in fabricating IEDs was recovered in large quantity. “Police has registered a case under relevant provisions of law and investigation has been taken up. Among other things, the investigation will focus on the source of the recovered explosives. Two persons have been arrested in the case and efforts are on to nab the other conspirators,” police added.(KNO)
