Suspicious object found on Rajouri highway, traffic suspended, restored after clearance | KNO

Rajouri, July 15 (KNO) : Army on Monday morning recovered a suspicious object on Jammu Rajouri highway following which the traffic was suspended along Rajouri-Poonch highway. Sources told KNO that Army team patrolling the highway found something suspicious in nature lying on highway stretch at Narian village of Rajouri following which an alert was sounded. "Bomb disposal squad and police teams rushed to the spot," they said. The traffic along Rajouri-Poonch highway was suspended. After receiving a clearance from bomb disposal squad, authorities have restored traffic along Rajouri-Poonch highway which was suspended for detection of some 'suspicious' material in Narain area of the district. Police post Chingus Rajouri MD Khan while confirming the development told KNO that, "they have restored the traffic on the road after receiving clearance from the bomb disposal squad, while adding that as such no dangerous material was found in the bag."(KNO)
