Father-son duo arrested with charas in Sopore | KNO

Sopore, July 26 (KNO) : Police on Friday arrested father and son along with charas in north Kashmir’s Sopore town. Official sources told KNO during a naka checking laid by Sopore police, father-son duo were held along with large quantity of charas at Teliyaan Sopore in this afternoon. They said that people of the town had informed police about the duo for their involvement in drug dealing which they were supplying to the youth of Sopore town. The duo has been identified as Ghulam Mohiudin Dar alias Mahad Chuntii, son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar and Ghulam Hassan Dar, son of Ghulam Mohiudin Dar of Teliyaan Mohalla Arampora Sopore. Sources further said that a case under FIR number 209/2019 under section 8/20, 29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Sopore and further investigation has been initiated into this case.(KNO)
