Mehraj-ud-din-Khan, a sarpanch who is also president of north Kashmir Sarpanch association told KNO that concerned department had called them for Sarpanchs meeting but there were no proper sitting arrangements for them, adding that the funds were allocated but the officer of the concerned department had made third class arrangements to save the money. The Sarpanchs also accused the authorities of district administration of ‘misbehavior’ with the Panchayat members whenever they visits the office in connection with some works related to their areas so those employees don't even pay attention to us all day. Meanwhile, they urged higher ups to look into their grievances.(KNO)
