Appeals Union Govt to clear its confusion, tell people what is truth

Srinagar, August 02 (KNO) : Representatives from various political parties Friday participated in a hurriedly arranged all party meet convened by Peoples United Front (PUF). Those who participated included leaders from NC, PDP, Peoples United Front, ANC, APSCC and those of other political parties. According to a statement issued to KNO, the meeting lasted for one and half hour and threadbare deliberations were held over the prevailing political unrest in the meeting. Briefing media persons about the outcome of the meeting, PUF leader Dr Shah Faesal revealed that complete unanimity was found on all issues between the various participants. He said that the parties have emphasised the need to be united in the hours of uncertainty and it was agreed that all differences whatsoever will be set aside and a collective response whatsoever required will be given over the constitutional challenges state is facing as of now. Dr Faesal said that it was observed that people of the state are facing an existential crises and every political party is duty bound to come true to the expectations of masses. He on behalf of participants appealed people of Jammu and Ladakh to understand that it is not the case that only Kashmiris are passing through phase of uncertainty but every citizen from Lakhanpur to Karnah is and has to be worried over the rumours and circulars being spread by none other than the government itself. Dr. Faesal appealed Union Government to clear its confusion and tell people of the state what is the truth and what are the designs of Union Government. Dr Shah Faesal on behalf of participants asked New Delhi to think of consequences of the misadventures being talked about from National Media to Social Media. Faesal assured masses that the political leadership is aware of its duties and will not leave the people of the state at the mercy of rumours and false narratives of national media and the Union Government. He added that it was unanimously decided that a multipronged strategy will be decided and we will ensure that entire masses and their political representatives will do whatsoever required in case of any eventuality or the situation.(KNO)
