3 suspected cases of Coronavirus shifted to CD hospital Sgr from Charar-i-Sharief, samples taken, report awaited | KNO

Budgam, Mar 25 (KNO): Three young male patients with symptoms related to Coronavirus have been admitted in isolation ward at chest disease hospital (CD) Srinagar from sub district hospital Charar-e-Sharief area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district. According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), all three young male persons,(Name withheld) had travel history within different cities from India and developed some symptoms related to Covid-19 and were immediately referred to Chest disease hospital Srinagar. “All are from Charar-e-sharief” said Mastoora Iqbal Bhat, Block Medical Officer Charar-i-Sharief. She said that the patients with very little symptoms of Coronavirus, having travel history within India and have returned on different dates in March, have been kept in an isolation ward at CD hospital Srinagar after we refer them there. "Three young male persons developed fever and cough symptoms after arriving from different cities of India. They approached Sub district hospital Charar-e-Sharief today morning, we communicated higher authorities and refer them to chest disease hospital Srinagar so that they would be quarantine properly." "If they tests negative then they will be discharged, in case they tested positive, they will be admitted, By the time tests arrives, they would be quarantine properly,” she said. “Nothing is clear of as of now. As a precautionary measure, we have kept them in an isolation ward there for precautionary measures,” she said. “There is no need to be panic however general public must avoid visiting crowded places unnecessarily.” Pertinent to mention that four more persons in Kashmir tested positive for deadly Covid-19 on Wednesday taking the total number of positive cases to 11 in Jammu and Kashmir—(KNO)
