Bandipora, Mar 28 (KNO): Authorities on later Friday shifted another suspected COVID-19 patient from Bandipora to isolation ward in Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Soura as the patient had shown some symptoms. According to wire service-Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a 27-year-old patient was shifted to isolation ward set up in Soura after he showed symptoms of Covid-19. An official said that he was shifted to Soura at round 10:30 pm last night after showing some symptoms, however, he has no travel history but his father was the close contact of deceased Covid-19 patient form Hyderpora. He said that his father was already put under quarantine on March 26 in a quarantine centre established in Chitternar area of Bandipora. The official said the patient was traced by a rapid response team late last night and was immediately shifted to isolation ward in SKIMS, Soura. Earlier on March 25, a 29-year-old Tableeg-i-Jamaat member was shifted to CD Hospital for quarantine purpose after he showed symptoms of the virus. He was also among the contacts of the COVID-19 patient of Hyderpora who died on Thursday morning after he was tested positive for the virus two days ago. He had a travel history of Bengaluru, Delhi and Jammu—(KNO)
