Indo-Pak armies exchange gunfire at Nowshera, KG sectors | KNO

Rajouri, Mar 30 (KNO): The armies of India and Pakistan on Sunday late evening and Monday exchanged gunfire at more than one dozen forward locations in Rajouri and Poonch districts. According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the cross border firing took place in Nowshera and Krishna Ghati sectors of Rajouri and Poonch districts respectively. Officials said that in Pukharni and Lam forward area on LoC in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district, ceasefire violation started on Sunday late evening at around 10 PM and both sides used small and medium arms weapons. “Six forward locations of Indian Army came under fire that lasted for over two hours." said official sources. Meanwhile, in Krishna Ghati sector, ceasefire violation started at around 06:45 PM on Monday evening. "At around six forward locations along LoC, fire started that is going on when last reports poured in." said official sources who added that immediately there are no reports of any loss of life – (KNO)
