Two minor boys prevented from joining militancy | KNO

Baramulla, Apr 04 (KNO): Police on Saturday claimed to have prevented two minor from joining the militancy. According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), officials said that Kreeri Police on last evening rescued two boys who had left their home to join militant ranks. Additional Superintendent of Police (SP) Baramulla told—KNO that the minors were traced by a special team of Kreeri police along with Army’s 52RR and 176 Bn CRPF after their parents lodged a missing report on 28 April at Police Station Chandoosa. “They had been indoctrinated and influenced by false narratives,” a police spokesperson said, adding that to ensure quick and timely action, the police constituted a special team and with the help of the families, traced all the boys. They further said, both boys were counseled and handed over to the parents –(KNO)
