Bijbehara, Apr 07 (KNO): A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man was killed on Tuesday in a firing incident in South Kashmir’s Bijbehara town of Anantnag district. Minutes before the firing, a grenade was also lobbed at the CRPF men that failed to explode. Official sources told wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that suspected militants lobbed a grenade towards CRPF men, which didn't explode. However, they said that militants later fired upon the CRPF men during which a CRPF man was wounded in Goriwan area of Bijbehara, saying that injured CRPF man was rushed to the nearby hospital. However, officials said the injured CRPF man died on way to hospital. He was identified as Shivlal Netam Soon after getting the information, the police officials have rushed to the spot, officials said,  adding that search operation has been launched to man the attackers—(KNO)
