Keran Ops: Slain militants buried at an undisclosed location in Kupwara district | KNO

Kupwara, Apr 7 (KNO): The Jammu and Kashmir Police Tuesday received the bodies of five militants and later buried in the forward area within Kupwara district. According to Wire Service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), an official said following proper Islamic rituals, all the slain militants were buried in a forward area. He said that bodies of all the five militants were received on Tuesday, postmortem was carried out and DNA samples were also collected for identification purpose. As per the Islamic directives the burial was done in forward area (Undisclosed Location) of Kupwara district, the official said. He said the weather wasn't favorable and due to inclement weather conditions, the police party hasn't yet reported back from the woods. The official said that the DNA samples of all the militants have been taken for the identification purpose.
