One killed, three injured in solar battery explosion in Pampore | KNO

Srinagar, Apr 08 (KNO): A person was killed while three other family members were injured on Wednesday evening in a solar battery explosion at Khrew area of Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), officials said that the blast took place inside a residential house of Ghulam Nabi Mir, son of Ghulam Rasool Mir at Zantrag village in Khrew area of Pampore in South Kashmir's Pulwama district. In the blast, one person died while as three others suffered serious injuries and were rushed to the hospital, officials said, adding that all the injured were shifted to nearby health centre where from they all were referred to SMHS hospital Srinagar for specialized treatment. The deceased person has been identified as Shabir Ahmad (25) while as the injured persons have been identified as Gulshan (18), Shafeeqa (21) and Faisal (08). A police official also confirmed the death of a youth and said a case has been registered in this regard and further investigation is going on –(KNO)
