JAMMU & KASHMIR Avalanche hits Gurez, 2 persons buried under snow, rescued alive | KNO Published 211 weeks ago on April 08, 2020 By Sajid Maqbool Raina Bandipora, Apr 08 (KNO): Two persons were rescued alive after they got buried under an avalanche in snow bound Gurez area of north Kashmir's Bandipora district on Wednesday evening. According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), locals said that two persons were on way to check-Nallah area of Gurez along with snow clearance machine, and they came under a snow avalanche at Chak-Nallah. Soon after the incident, local administration along with police immediately launched a rescue operation and after few hours both of them were rescued alive, officials said.
