Srinagar gunfight: After brief lull, firing resumes | KNO

Srinagar, May 19 (KNO): After a brief lull, firing  has resumed between militants and Government forces in Srinagar. A pre- dawn encounter broke out in Nawa Kadal area of  downtown  Srinagar       Police sources told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that  there was no firing for more than four hours after initial exchange of gunfire between the two sides.                  "The firing has resumed," they said. As a precautionary measure, authorities have suspended voice call and mobile internet services in Srinagar. This is the first encounter in Srinagar city after August 5, 2019—(KNO)
