Bakery items destroyed as shop runner tests positive in Sopore village | KNO

Sopore May 21 (KNO): Authorities on Thursday destroyed bakery items of a bakery shop in Watergam area of Sopore in north Kashmir's Baramulla district after the shop runner was tested positive for COVID-19 An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that a team civil officials, police and revenue officials visited Watergam area and destroyed all the bakery items in the shop after the shop runner was tested positive for COVID-19. He said that the bakery items were destroyed as per the protocol in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the area. The officials said that they had already advised bakery owners, butchers and other traders to get tested for COVID-19 before they could open their business establishments on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr—(KNO)
