Srinagar, May 26 (KNO): Tosamaidan Bachav Front-TBF Tuesday termed the incident that left two boys injured in Tosamaidan as unfortunate and demanded an immediate investigation into the matter. In a statement issued to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), TBF Spokesperson, Molvi Maqbool said that it is for the second time that the blast has occurred at the place that too when the area has been declared safe zone by the authorities. “The first incident occurred in 2018 even after the area was sanitized. The fresh incident has produced suspicion. The affected area in which the blast took place was always seen safe, even when the Army drills were stipulated in firing practice,” he said. Chief Organizer of TBF, Sheikh Ghulam Mohidin said, “We also demand immediate and complete investigation into the incident that took place in the year 2018 as the inclusive investigation of the case is yet pending.” “Many people with vested interests could have hired miscreants to spoil the Tosamaidan image as the potential of the destination could have made it reach flourish into world’s best adventure destination. It is not only a trouble created against the livelihood of poor living on the foothill villages of Tosamaidan but also a humanistic crime against the whole of humanity. Question arises, how the people reached there, when Kashmir is under strict COVID lockdown,” Chief Patron TBF, Dr. Sheikh Ghulam Rasool said. TBF Chairman Master Maqbool demanded an investigation without any delay. “Government of Jammu and Kashmir is duty bound to investigate and establish the obvious conspiracy or government’s false claim of declaring the Tosamaidan as a safe zone. We want the government to constitute a Commission without any delay and make the facts public,” TBF said –(KNO)
