16 animals perished, nomad couple injured in lightening in Poonch | KNO

Poonch, May 29 (KNO): At least sixteen animals including goat and sheep were killed while a nomad couple was injured due to lightning in Hari village of Surankote in Poonch district. Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a nomad couple received minor injuries while their sheep and goat were killed due to lightening that struck their house. “Sixteen goat and sheep got killed on the spot, causing a huge loss to the family,” the officials said, adding that the nomad identified as Ghulam Mustafa, son of Muhammad Hussain and his wife Rakeeza Bi sustained minor injuries in the incident –(KNO)
