JAMMU & KASHMIR HCC, CISF structures damaged in Gurez blaze | KNO Published 202 weeks ago on June 02, 2020 By Sajid Maqbool Raina Bandipora, June 02 (KNO): Several structures of Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) were damaged in a massive blaze that broke out in Gurez area of north Kashmir's Bandipora district along the Line of Control (LoC) on Tuesday evening. An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that at around 07:00 PM, the fire broke out in HCC building inside the quarter near dam site at Nayal Kanzalwan area of Gurez in Bandipora. “The fire has engulfed several structures of HCC and CISF in which some barracks have been gutted completely. However, no loss of life or injury has been reported so far,” the official said. He added the fire tenders from Dawar have reached the spot and are trying to douse the flames. “More fire tenders are being deputed to the spot,” he said. SDPO Gurez Ajaz Ahmad also confirmed the incident to KNO.
