Hizb pays tributes to slain Shopian militants | KNO

Hizbul Mujahideen Sunday paid tributes to the three militants killed in an encounter by government forces in Awanera village in Shopian.

Hizb Operational spokesman Burhan-u-din in a tele-statement to KNS said that Hizb Chief Syed Salah-udin, Deputy Chief Saif-ullah Khalid and Field Operational Mehmood Ghaznawi have paid tributes to three “brave mujahideen martyred in Shopian”.

The militants Umar Majeed, Adil Malik, and Sheikh Irfan were killed in the encounter.
The spokesman said that Salah-udin addressed a prayer meeting in which he prayed for the slain militants and sympathized with their families.
He said the two Indian army men were killed and several were injured by militants. (KNS)
