Dukhtaran-e-Millat on Wednesday castigated the puppet government for continuously denying medical facilities to its ailing party chairperson, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi, for the past five months.

In a statement, DeM general secretary, Nahida Nasreen, said that it was a well-knit plot to murder Andrabi Sahiba under custody. “ Andarbi Sahiba was kept under house detention on April 26 and later on was booked under PSA and taken to Jammu jail. More than five months have passed since but no medical care has been made available to her as she is suffering from many ailments,” she added.

“In May, while in custody in Srinagar, she was taken to Police hospital but the treatment was left midway and she was shifted to Jammu jail from there and where all medical facilities were snapped completely.”

She said that in August, the Court ordered the puppet authorities to admit her at the CD hospital in Srinagar. “ Doctors prescribed many diagnostic tests including the Echo test to determine any heart-related and other ailments but the whole process was shelved and she was whisked away from the hospital bed and shifted back to Jammu,” Nasreen added.

Nasreen said that the party chairperson is suffering from many ailments and the denial of treatment for asthma at the Jammu jail has worsened her condition. “Since her shifting to Srinagar from Jammu, she still is suffering from acute asthma attack and there seems no relief to it,” she added.

“It seems that it is a plot to put her life in danger and is a matter of great concern for us.”

She said that the denial of medical facilities to the ailing chairperson won’t be tolerated as she is an asset to the resistance movement in Kashmir. “ This puppet government must remember that any harm done to the well-being of Andrabi Sahiba will have serious consequences and the puppet government will be responsible for that,” she added.

Meanwhile, Nasreen paid glowing tributes to the Mujahideen who were martyred in Hajin early this morning.

“Shaheed Ali bhai and other local Mujahid shaheed Nasrullah mir fought bravely in Hajin today. By the grace of Almighty Allah, Indian sinister plots to end all Mujahideen will never be successful. Allah SWT will fail every sinister ploy of these oppressors,” she added.

She said that India used the renegades in the Hajin area in the past for its nefarious gains and no Mujahid was present in the area. “ But by the grace of Almighty Allah SWT, this is the same area now where every now and then youth become Mujahid and fight this oppressive regime till their last breath. InshaAllah, these are the signs that we will soon be free from Indian illegal occupation and will be a part of Pakistan,” she added.
