Alleged ‘ransacking’ of militants house, 'Clashes erupts in Tral' | KNO

After the family of a local militant of Tral, Hammad Ahmad, accused government forces of ransacking their house last night, clashes erupted in the township against the alleged ransacking on Thursday.

FILE PHOTO : Reports said that as soon as the news about the alleged “ransacking” spread in the area, youth took to streets and started pelting stones on the forces personnel leading to clashes. Forces used tearsmoke shells to disperse the protesters. Meanwhile, a complete shutdown is being observed in the township to protest against the ransacking. The incident of “ransacking” comes a day after houses of three militants were ransacked allegedly by government forces in Shopian district.
