PDP leader and MLC Yasir Reshi Thursday said that there might be some percentage of agencies involved behind the incidents of braid chopping, but 90 percent of such incidents are done by NC. In a statement to KNS, Reshi said he has a recording or previous year, in which NC legislator Shameema Firdous is heard asking her workers to disturb law and order so that it creates more problems for PDP and blame will be automatically shifted on PDP. “Again it is NC behind such incidents to create chaos in valley for their political gains. NC workers are chopping braids of women on the directions of their leaders,” Reshi added. “Even in 2016 it were NC workers who would incite others to pelt stones at Army camps and would later flee,” he said. Reshi said 90 percent are NC workers involved in braid chopping incidents. “I demand all the culprits involved in braid chopping be punished as per law,” he said.
