Bandipora, Oct 09 (KNO): The Managing Editor of a local news gathering agency, Kashmir News Bureau-KNB, Malik Sumeed has been appointed as the Media Advisor to Bandipora Cricket Initiative (BCI) on Sunday.
In a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), President of BCI Padma Shri Faisal Ali welcomed Malik Sumeed in the core group of BCI and said that it was the wish of the BCI that a competent and a capable person should hold the position.
"With Malik Sumeed at the critical post the BCI is elated that the position is in safe hands," Faisal said, adding that he wishes him good luck for the future endeavors.
Malik Sumeed, a journalist, has worked his way up the ladder through hard work and intelligence.
With work experience across the media platforms and metropolitan cities of country, his appointment in BCI has been hailed as a welcome step across sections.
