Jammu, July 06 (KNO) : National General Secretary Raju Chandel of Amarnath Yatra Welfare Society (SAYWS) and Former Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling who is also National Vice Chairman of SAJYWS demanded immediate abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A to end unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir. Raju Chandel while addressing the presser at Press Club Jammu held mainstream political parties of Kashmir Valley responsible for swallowing rate of unemployment in J&K by misleading the innocent people of the state since independence. According to KNO Correspondent, Chandel further said that Amarnath Yatra is symbol of communal harmony, unity and brotherhood and wished safe and happy journey to Amarnath yatries. While speaking to media, Chandel expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by the authorities headed by Governor Satya Pal Malik for the hospitality of pilgrims from Lakhanpur to Sonamarg and Pahalgam transit camps for Amarnath Yatries. He said this Amarnath yatra is more special because this Yatra is symbol of communal harmony, unity and brotherhood. “What I have realised that Kashmiris believe about 'Athithi devo bhavo' (guest is god) and this yatra proves that every year and pilgrims spreads the message all over the country and outside India too.” Chandel further disclosed that the society has installed various Langers enroute to Jammu, Nagrota, Ramban, Anantnag and Nunwan Camp in Pahalgam every year during Amarnath pilgrimage since for the last 26 years. Raju Chandel also appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and state administration for taking elaborate security and other arrangements for the visiting pilgrims.(KNO)
