Srinagar, May 28 (KNO): The administration is mulling to resume the sports activities in Jammu and Kashmir after remaining suspended for over three months due to COVID-19 outbreak. Reliable sources told news—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the government has started process to come up with the fresh guidelines to resume the sports activities. All the playfields are wearing deserted look in Jammu and Kashmir as the restrictions were also imposed on these activities to prevent the deadly virus from spreading that claimed 27 lives so far and infected over 2000 people in the Union Territory. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary while talking to KNO stated that the consultations to resume the activities with stakeholders including sports are going on. He added further stated that the consultations over the idea to prepare the people for distancing maintenance is also going on. “The resumption of sports activities is also under consideration for revised guidelines with effect from May 31,” he added –(KNO)
