Srinagar, July 24 (KNO) : In a significant development, a high-level meeting is scheduled to take place in Delhi soon after August 15 to discuss the modus operandi as to how Article 35-A can be scrapped in Jammu and Kashmir, reliable sources told KNO. Even as the Article 35A that guarantees special rights to citizens in J&K is a presidential law, and there are already a series of petitions before the Supreme Court seeking its roll back, the meeting likely to be chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah with many other cabinet ministers and cabinet secretaries set to remain present will find ways and means of scrapping the Article 35-A. "It is a Government's prerogative to take a final call on Article 35-A, party stand is open that we want it to go," Avinash Rai Khanna, BJP National President told KNO. Another party leader said Article 35-A will go in last week of August (KNO)
