Bandipora youth goes missing, police launches probe | KNO

Bandipora, May 17 (KNO) : A 29-year-old youth from Sheikhpora Mantrigam village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora has reputedly went missing from his home. Reports reaching to KNO said that a youth identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, son of Rahma Lone of Sheikhpora Mantrigam village of Bandipora district went missing on Friday (May 13) after he left home for duty to Govt Hr Sec School Chuntimulla Arin. Family sources told KNO that Mushtaq, a government teacher by profession left for the duty but didn’t return home till evening. “We called all relatives and friends, but there has been no trace of him so far,” he added. A senior police officer told KNO that family has registered a missing report and a complaint has been lodged in the concern police station. “We are investigating the matter and search has been launched to trace the missing youth,” he said. Officer further added that anybody having any information regarding the said person may please contact Police Station Pethkoot on 9596767415, PCR Bandipora on 9596767430 he said. (KNO)
