Says markets, shops, other establishments to remain closed on Sat, Sun

Sopore, July 10 (KNO): The district administration Baramulla has decided to go for a massive fumigation of markets in Pattan and Sopore areas of the district and announced that the shops and other establishments in these areas will remain closed on Saturday and Sunday. An order, a copy of which lies with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), reads that “in an order to conduct the massive fumigation of markets within the Municipal limits of Sopore Town and Pattan Town, Singhpora, Pallahan and Hyderbeigh. It is hereby ordered that all the shops/ commercial/ financial establishments/ vendors shall remain off on 11th and 12th July.” “During these two days, the Municipal Council Sopore will conduct fumigation as well as cleaning, sanitation of all the business, financial establishments, public places and government offices within Sopore Town. Besides, Municipal Committee Pattan in coordination with BDO Pattan, Singhpora will conduct the same in Pattan and markets in Singhpora, Pallahan and Hyderbeigh,” the statement issued here reads. The administration has also appealed people to follow the instructions—(KNO)
