Butcher arrested for selling Rancid meat in Bla | KNO

Baramulla, May 25 (KNO): Police on Monday claimed to have arrested a butcher who was allegedly selling Rancid meat in Heewan village of north Kashmir's Baramulla district. Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that locals informed police about a butcher who was selling Rancid meat in Heewan village Station House Officer (SHO) Sheeri told KNO "we got a call from locals and police party in the jurisdiction rushed to the spot and arested a butcher and destroyed Rancid meat." Police officials identified butcher as Muhammad Hussain Ganie, son of Abdul Samad Ganie of Fathegrah Sheeri Baramulla. They said a case under FIR number 22/2020 under section 188/269 IPC has been registered in Police Station Sheeri Baramulla, stating that investigation is going—(KNO)
