Certain mandatory procedures against Major Gogoi still pending: Army | KNO

Srinagar, March 31(KNO) : Amid reports that Major Leetul Gogoi may face reduction in service, the army today said that “certain mandatory procedures regarding disciplinary proceedings" in respect of Maj Leetul Gogoi are yet to be completed. "Therefore , it may not be proper to comment at this stage," defence spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia told KNO. Earlier media reports had suggested that the court of inquiry against Major Gogoi had been completed and he was involved in fraternising and remaining away from the place of posting. According to media reports, Major Gogoi was also found involved in running a fake Facebook account in the name of Arman.(KNO)
