Chilli powder thrown on petrol pump employee, cash looted | KNO

Rajouri, June 24 (KNO) : Two motorcycle borne youth on Monday evening looted cash from a petrol pump employee after throwing chilli powder on his face. Incident took place in Nowshera area of Rajouri district. Reports reaching to KNO stated that Brijesh Kumar working on Friends Petrol Station Rajal was asked by pump owner to deposit daily fuel sale in bank after which he left for Nowshera bank on his two wheeler along with 4.80 lakhs rupees. "While the employee was on way to Nowshera from Rajal from link road, two motorcycle borne youth blocked his way and threw chilli powder in his eyes and than looted the entire cash and fled from the spot," Police sources told KNO. The petrol pump employee was later shifted for medical aid while police teams from Nowshera rushed to the spot after which a major manhunt was launched to nab the culprits. An official told KNO that the accused are still at large but efforts were on to arrest them. (KNO)
