Srinagar, May 21 (KNO): A police was killed while a cop and a CRPF personnel were injured in a militant attack at Prichoo area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama, officials said. They told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that militants attacked the joint team of police and CRPF at a naka at Prichoo area of Pulwama leaving three security forces personnel injured of which one succumbed on way to hospital and two others also sustained bullet injuries. Officials confirmed the death of a police man and identified him as Head Constable Anoop Singh number 70 of Indian Reserve Police 10th battalion, a resident of Saidpora, Pulwama. The injured were identified as police Muihammad Abrahim, who sustained serious bullet wounds and a CRPF man Krishan Kumar of 182 battalion CRPF, who received a minor bullet injury in his chest. Kashmir zone police on its twitter hand wrote that militants fired at joint naka party of police and CRPF at Prichoo, Pulwama. “Two police personnel got injured, however, one of the injured succumbed,” the tweet read. Today’s attack is the second in the last 24 hours in Kashmir. Yesterday, militants killed two BSF men at Pandach area of Srinagar outskirts and also snatched their weapons—(KNO)
