DCC Doda defends Ghulam Nabi Azad, Criticized Ravi Shanker Prasad | KNO

BHADERWAH, JUN 23 (KNO) : Under fire from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad’s controversial remark on Kashmir and the India Amry, District Doda Congress Committee president and MLC Naresh Gupta, Strongly condemned and refuted the statement of Union Minister Ravi Shanker Prasad regarding Leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Gulam Nabi Azad .

Addressing a hurried called press conference Naresh Kumar Gupta MLC strongly condemned the statement of Ravi Shanker Prasad law minister published in a section of press,who has misrepresented and misquoted the statement of G N Azad . MLC said Prasad should aware that there is nothing wrong in the statement of Azad ,the statement disclosed the factual position.

You Prasad just criticizing to cover the fallies of the Modi's government and PDP/BJP and nothing else and Azad is recognized leader of India,he required not popularity like you people, Gupta said . What ever Azad has done for Jammu Kashmir;and in the country you and your leadership shouldn't think. Just to cover BJP's wrong,negative policies, baseless issues are being projected, he further added and said such approach has spoiled the state and pushed back to the situation faced earlier from where Congress under the leadership of Azad brought the state on the path of development peace and prosperity. MLC said BJP had forgotten Kandahar episode where BJP released the top militants and have also forgotten,where NDA government provided safe passage to Pakistan, to the most wanted militants Mast Gul and his associates. Should we say it a nexus .BJP'S role during pathankot air base attack,where you Modi sarkar, Mr. Prasad brought Pak investigation team's,instead rendering assistance, every secret got exposed. Is it not shameful, he said .

Naresh Kumar Gupta said Prasad headlines will not resolve the Kashmir problem, it requires positive approach,like adopted by Azad as CM, who constituted working groups, need of the hour to discuss and implement the recommendations of those working groups . Further leave the habit of exploitation. MLC said Azad is true Indian secular and nationalist. History of Azad is crystal clear and eye opener to you people. LK Advani personally commented abot the positiveness of Azad,when Azad personally monitoring the treatment and there after dispatch of dead body of BJP'S state president Lt. DKKotwal from AIIMS to Delhi Airport and to Jammu/Bhadarwah during April' 2013.Smt. Sushma Soraj to extended her thanks for the efforts of Azad.
