DDC Pulwama distributes cheques worth Rs 6.50 lakh among injured students | KNO

Visits SMHS, B&J hospitals, enquire about their health

Pulwama, February 14 (KNO) : On the directions of Governor Satyapal Malik, District Development Commissioner Pulwama G.M Dar today visited SMHS and Bone and Joints (B&J) Hospital Srinagar, where he enquired about the health of the students who were injured on Wednesday during a blast in their school. Terming the incident as unfortunate, DDC expressed his sympathy and assured to extend every possible help to the students. Praying for early recovery of all injured students, the DDC expressed solidarity with all the affected families. He also handed over cheques worth Rs 50,000 to thirteen students each as the financial assistance to them. Director School Education Dr G.N Itoo and Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar K K Sidha and other concerned with accompanying the DDC.(KNO)
