Driver critically injured, as excursion bus turns turtle in north Kashmir's Watlab | KNO

Srinagar, July 04 (KNO) : A picnic bus carrying students met with an accident in Watlab area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Thursday. Official sources told KNO that a bus bearing registration number JK01J/9633 met with an accident after the driver lost Control on his speed at Sangri Top Watlab this afternoon. They told KNO that the school bus was coming from Budgam to Baba-shukur-udin shrine after the students were dropped at shrine the bus driver lost control and fell into deep George. The injured driver identified as Driver Shabir Ahamad(40) a resident of Budgam was immediately rushed to nearby hospital for treatment where from he has been shifted to SKIMS Srinagar. However all the students in the bus are safe and none of them suffered any injury. Pertinently eighteen girl students and a teacher were injured on Wednesday evening after a picnic bus met with an accident in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.(KNO)
