Drug peddler arrested in Bandipora: Police | KNO

Bandipora, Mar 28(KNO): Jammu and Kashmir police Saturday arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession in Sumbal area of north Kashmir's Bandipora district. According to wire service-Kashmir News Observer (KNO), an official said that on the directions of SSP Bandipora, Rahul Malik- IPS, a police party of Police Station Sumbal led by SHO, Sumbal Shri Muneeb Ul Islam under the supervision of SDPO Sumbal Saqib Ghani arrested a person identified as Manzoor Ahmad Dar, son of Abdul Rashid Dar of Pushwari Naidkhai and recovered around Sixty Five (65) kilogram of Charas powder from his possession. In this connection, a case FIR under relevant sections of NDPS ACT has been registered in Police Station Sumbal and investigation into the matter has been started. The people of the area in general and the senior citizens and youth in particular have appreciated the continuous drive of Sumbal Police—(KNO)
