The Advisor was speaking as the chief guest at the valedictory ceremony of two-day HR conclave at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu. The event involved six power-packed panel discussions by 40 HR Heads from organizations of national and international repute. Advisor Ganai congratulated the students, administration and Prof B. S. Sahay, Director IIM Jammu for successfully organizing the event at such a large scale. Sharing his personal experiences, Ganai urged the students to work hard and said that there is no short-cut to success other than hard work. He also spoke about the 4th Industrial revolution, how new technologies like Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Big Data, Robotics etc. are becoming increasingly popular. “We can’t imagine a future without them (new technologies). He advised the students to embrace and understand new technologies, rather than refraining from adopting them,” he added. He also made the students realize the importance of Emotional Intelligence. “A leader with emotional intelligence can help the team to achieve its goals effectively.” Advisor Ganai also stated the importance of having an institute of national importance like IIM in Jammu and its contribution in enhancing the traction and visibility of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.(KNO)
