Kupwara, March 26 (KNO) : Appealing masses to vote for him, AIP President and candidate from Baramulla Parliamentary constituency Er Rasheed Tuesday addressed around a dozen gatherings at Pattan, Khunbal Handwara, Chowkibal, Trahgam, Kralpora, Batergam and other various places. Er Rasheed while addressing the gatherings thanked people for showing their support and assured that he will not let them down. According to a statement issued to KNO, Er Rasheed said, “My eleven years performance in Assembly needs to be judged by masses and people have a right to reject me if others have represented them better.” He said let Kashmiris understand their duties and not miss the opportunity to send right persons in India’s parliament to represent their sufferings and sentiments. If people make a wrong choice yet again, the onus will lie on them not on those who exploit their sentiments. Accusing NC, PDP and PC of displaying worst ‘hypocrisy’, Er Rasheed said that these parties have nothing to offer except what their masters in Delhi want them to do just to make the election drama a success. “While Kashmir is burning since three decades, the leaders have been the biggest beneficiaries of the conflict and the regional forces have acted like B teams of congress and BJP. It is shameful that Mehbooba Mufti and Ali Mohammad Sagar are comparing their cadres with Mujahideen, without having any idea what they mean by saying so and thus hurting religious sentiments of masses,” he said. Er Rasheed appealed masses to give AIP a chance so that the voice of suppressers and deprived reaches the right place and the miseries of Kashmiris come to an end.(KNO)
