Srinagar, February 25 (KNO): Former chief minister and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti on Monday cautioned New Delhi that any tampering with article 370 and 35A will nullify the accession of J&K with Union of India and will have dangerous implications. Mufti was addressing a presser in Srinagar, saying "The article 370 is the basis of accession of J&K with union of India and any fiddling or tampering with it will tear apart this relationship," Mufti said. According to KNO correspondent, Mufti said that Government of India should shun any such misadventure of fiddling with it. She said that article 35A is part of article 370 and tampering with any one of these will have far reaching consequences. "Don’t play with fire," she said while cautioning New Delhi of creating problems for people who bear the flag of India in the state. “I have stated it earlier and would like to reiterate that if these articles are fiddled all those who bear the flag of India in the state will lose the reason to raise it as the very basis of their relationship will be gone," she said. According to Mufti, her father Mufti Sayeed had joined hands with rightwing Hindu party BJP to form government in J&K to thwart such moves. "I would put my humble submission before the people who ar at the helm of affairs in Delhi that do not play with fire. Any such mis adventure will have far reaching consequences,” she told media.(KNO)
