Five more villages declared red zone in Bandipora | KNO

Bandipora, Apr 04 (KNO): The district administration Bandipora on Saturday late evening declared five more villages as red zones as a precautionary measure after several COVID-19 positive cases were reported from these areas. According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), an official said that the villages including Konan, Gund-Qaiser, Gund-Dachina of Tehsil Bandipora, while as Hakbara and Madwan of Tehsil Hajin have been declared red zones, as the Coronavirus cases continue to rise sharply in the areas. An official told—KNO that there would be no inward and outward movement of any person from the villages declared as Red zone and the people would stay inside their homes to ensure complete lockdown. Furthermore, the admin warned of stern action against violators as per provision of relevant Acts. Earlier, four villages of Hajin designated as red zones include Parray Mohala Hajin, Chandergeer Hajin, Batagund Hajin in Bandipora— (KNO)
