Srinagar, July 04 (KNO) : Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Ghulam Ahmad Mir Thursday greeted people on the birth anniversary of Guru Hargobind Singh Ji. In a statement issued to KNO, Mir paid glowing tributes to Guru Hargobind ji on his birth anniversary which is being celebrated on Friday with religious fervor and gaiety, describing Guruji as an apostle of peace and harmony. Mir said Guru Hargobind Ji always fought against injustice and social inequality while dedicating his entire life to the service of people, irrespective of their caste or religion. “The teachings of Guru Ji will continue to lead the people at the path of truthfulness and righteousness, besides enlightening them about right and wrong. I express my great respect and tributes to Guru Hargobind ji on his birth anniversary and pray that the auspicious occasion will bring the smile on the faces of people,” Mir added and prayed or peace and stability in the country and JK. Mir also prayed for development and wellbeing of the people.(KNO)
