The APHC said Kashmiri people are giving huge sacrifices for the ongoing freedom struggle and these sacrifices are a priceless asset for the movement, people and the leadership.

The APHC said that since past seven decades, people of Kashmir have been giving sacrifices of every nature and it is because of these sacrifices Kashmir issue is echoing in almost all the international forums where International bodies feel the need of resolving the issue which has endangered the peace of the sub-continent and the entire South Asia.

The APHC said to counter the policy of oppression and brutal use of force by New Delhi and the rulers of J&K, steadfastness among the people of Kashmir and unity is the only tool to deal with it.

It further urged the people of Kashmir to make the BANDH call for Saturday August 12 a complete success. The call has been given to protest against the open assault on the J&K’s special status, oppression, killing of innocents, unleashing of reign of terror, conducting raids and laying of siege in villages and harassment of people at every nook and corner of Kashmir especially in south Kashmir.

Meanwhile, APHC strongly condemned the slapping of PSA on a 22-year old youth Irfan Ahmed Khan son of Bashir Ahmed Khan of Lazibal Islamabad and shifting him to Kathua Jail and stated that under a well planned conspiracy, Kashmiri youth are being subjected to worst form of atrocities.
