Injured PDP activist succumbs at SKIMS | KNO

Srinagar, May 16(KNO) : A peoples Democratic Party (PDP) activist who along with other worker was shot at by unidentified gunmen last week has succumbed at Srinagar hospital during the intervening night of Thursday. On May 08, Irfan Hameed Lone and Muzaffar Ahmad Bhat both PDP activists, had suffered bullet injuries and were shifted to Sub-District hospital Zainapora for treatment where from they were referred to district hospital Anantnag in critical conditions. Meanwhile, an official told KNO that both the injured were shifted to SKIMS for specialised treatment. "But one of the injured succumbed in the hospital," an official told KNO. Medical Superintendent SKIMS while confirming to KNO identified the deceased as Irfan Hameed Lone son of Abdul Hamid Lone. (KNO)
